Bento Lunch 06/02/13

· February 7, 2013

My two little ones have been quite miserable this week – MissC had a low temperature over the past few days that finally has gone away and MasterS has seems to be teething those big molars again. Both of them have been off their food. So I decided that we needed a fun, but easy chewing lunch.

On the menu:
Pasta Salad with Cheese and Ham (mini cookie cutters were used)
Pacman shaped Pikelet with icing eyes and food doodler pen for a smile
Garlic Bread (because thats what I had for my lunch with leftover spaghetti bolognaise)

What do you serve your little ones when they have been ill?

  1. Do you know, I just can’t get enough of watching little ones eating. Perhaps it’s because my little one is so fussy that when she DOES eat Im secretly so proud! And we’re going through those horrible molars right now too. I can’t even convince her with fun food – she just wants to play with it or feed it to the dog

  2. I’m with Kate, I love seeing these photos of you darlings eat your delicious inventions, I offered mine a coconut milk and pineapple sorbent and she screwed her nose up, fussy is an understatement! Visiting via Blogs and PR – Em

Yum, I love the way you used cookie cutters. What do you do with the outside parts of the sandwiches? I love the pasta salad! (Found you on Blogs and PR)

When they are unwell I dont think there is too much point fighting battles with food. Best to make sure they actually eat something!
