summer for smooze

· December 28, 2012

Perth has hit a 40 degree heatwave.. and I do not like the heat. My children have their dad’s sweat genes.. where they sweat alot from their head, especially at night!

Thats where Smooze Fruit Ice has come in handy! I love Smooze, my children love Smooze!! I did a Smooze Fruit Icereview before! You can read it here.

Smooze Fruit Ice is made from pure juices and purees, never concentrates or reconstituted juices; you can taste the freshness and naturally, fresh ingedients are far healthier for you than heated up-cooled down-dehydrated-rehydrated, factory-made concentrates!

Smooze is 100% vegan and free from:

  • Artificial colours & flavours
  • Preservatives
  • Dairy
  • Gluten
  • Cholesterol
  • GM
  • trans fats
  • Smooze is also Halal & Kosher Certified

Smooze Fruit Ice is AWESOME in a smoothie!! My healthy kick into 2013, has seen weight loss, toning and the amount of cola I drink has been dramatically reduced!

Smooze Fruit Ice is made with a base of coconut milk, with real fruit added to create four delicious flavours – Pineapple + Coconut, Pink Guava + Coconut, Mango + Coconut and Simply Coconut.  Available in boxes of 10, Smooze Fruit Ice doesn’t need to be frozen all the time, making it a convenient addition to the pantry all-year around.  For this reason, Smooze Fruit Ice can be found not in the frozen section, but in the dessert aisle of supermarkets, near ice-cream cones and jellies.

I made this smoothie when we had our first hot day in December.. and it has been a favourite ever since!

Pink Guava Smoothie Recipe:
1 cup Skim Milk
1 Banana
1 Smooze Pink Guava + Coconut
1 dash of honey
You can add LSA (Linseed-Sunflower-Almond) seeds if you have them

Mix it all up into a smooth consistency and drink up!

  1. Thanks for sharing! I’ll keep an eye out. The only way I can get milk into bub at the moment is via a smoothie so this sounds great!
